The event was attended by Roman Chumak, Chairman of the NGO MEC PRO JUSTICE, which actively supports the digital transformation initiatives of the Ukrainian judicial system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The UJICS concept is intended to form a comprehensive vision of the judiciary’s IT system and its infrastructure, as well as to define the expected results of its implementation. This initiative will create a detailed roadmap for the development and implementation of a modular information system that will automate the exchange of information between the judiciary. The UJIS will facilitate the exchange of documents, court cases and reports, as well as simplify access to justice for citizens. <\/p>\n

The presentation was attended by the heads and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, the Supreme Court, the High Council of Justice, the High Qualifications Commission of Judges, the State Judicial Administration, the Council of Judges, representatives of donor organizations, as well as judges and staff of the courts and prosecutors’ offices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the event, Mr. Roman noted that the implementation of the UJCS will be an important step in ensuring transparency, efficiency and accessibility of the judicial system.<\/p>\n

The NGO “MEC PRO Justice” expressed its readiness to support this project by providing expert support and facilitating its implementation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The USAID Justice for All Program will continue to support efforts to develop and implement software solutions for the digital transformation of the judiciary in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
