On December 1, 2023, in the city of The 8th Congress of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine took place in Kyiv at the Mercure Kyiv Congress Hotel. The event was organized with the support of the EU Pravo-Justice Project. The congress presented the Report on the activities of the ULCA in 2021-2023, which was approved by the community. The newly created UBA Bulletin was also presented, the first issue of which has already been published on the organization’s official website. The Congress elected the Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the UBA, as well as members of the Ethics Committee and the Disciplinary, Qualification and Audit Commissions. Following a secret ballot, the new Chairman and Deputy Chairmen of the ACUC, members of the Ethics Committee, as well as the Disciplinary, Qualification and Audit Committees were elected. Georgiy Parfyonov, a private enforcement officer of the executive district of Odesa region, member of the Odesa Regional Council for Justice Reforms of the EU Project “Pravo-Justice”, was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the CCAO Valeriy Prytuliak, a private enforcement officer of the executive district of Odesa region, was elected as a member of the Qualification Commission of Private Enforcement Officers, Member of the Board of the NGO MEC “Pro Justice” “Having considerable experience in developing test questions for both private bailiffs and educational and scientific programs of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, I will be a useful asset in the work of the Qualification Commission of Private Bailiffs. My teaching work allows me to objectively and impartially assess the knowledge of candidates. I am confident that I will be able to ensure an objective and unbiased approach to the selection process,” commented Valeriy on his intentions. The participants of the Congress and partners of the ULCA congratulated their colleagues on the election and wished them success in the development of the Association and self-government of the private enforcement community in Ukraine.
