Pro Justice’s legal education activities in cooperation with its partner, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. As part of the guest lecture, Olena Fonova, a representative of the NGO Pro Justice, remotely conducted a Justice Lesson with first-year law students as part of the all-Ukrainian Justice Campaign. Participation in this interactive game-discussion gave young professionals the opportunity to play the role of judges and try to fairly resolve a dispute that arose between the characters of the animated film. Ms. Olena also took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Scientists, Young Scientists and Lawyers entitled “Legal Means of Ensuring and Protecting Human Rights: Domestic and Foreign Experience”, organized by the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University in cooperation with the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Olena spoke to the conference participants on the topic “Development of e-justice in Ukraine through the prism of negative factors” and described the rapid development of e-justice amid the pandemic and martial law. Professors and staff of higher education institutions from Ukraine, Georgia, Canada, Estonia, representatives of academic organizations, practicing lawyers, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, representatives of NGOs, state and local authorities, etc. took part in the professional scientific discussions at the conference.
