Co-founder of the Interregional Expert Center “ProJustice”, Olena Fonova, took an active part in the meeting of the Working Group on the development and implementation of measures to ensure the independence of judges and the authority of justice. At the event, she presented the results of a detailed analysis of judges’ reports of interference in their activities submitted to the High Council of Justice. 📜

She also shared generalized data on how these appeals are handled, emphasizing the importance of responding effectively to such cases to ensure the safety and independence of judges in their work. ⚖️

As part of the discussion, Olena Fonova also joined the debate on the need to create a unified communication strategy for the judiciary. According to her, such a strategic approach will be an important tool for increasing public trust in the judiciary and ensuring transparency in the judicial decision-making process. 📣

She also emphasized the importance of this issue, noting: “Judicial independence is not just a theoretical concept, but a necessary condition for ensuring fair justice in any society. Without it, we will not be able to achieve true justice and the rule of law.”
