Within the framework of cooperation with the Association of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine, Olena Fonova, a representative of the NGO MEC “Pro Justice”, judge of the Economic Court of Luhansk region, took part in the Conference “Judicial Control. Procedural interaction of judges and private enforcement officers in the enforcement of decisions”. The conference was organized by the Council of Private Enforcement Officers of Kyiv with the support of the Association of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine and the EU Project Pravo-Justice. The event discussed issues of interaction in the process of judicial control between judges and bailiffs, conditions for “authorizing” certain procedural actions in enforcement proceedings, consideration of complaints against actions or inaction of bailiffs, etc. Olena participated as an invited expert in the discussion of the consequences of opening bankruptcy proceedings while the seized property of the debtor is at the stage of sale in the enforcement proceedings and foreclosure on the debtor’s receivables or property held by third parties.
